How your data is actually handled
Specific commitments, not vague reassurance. Here’s exactly what happens to your store and QuickBooks data.
QuickBooks access
Access happens through an accountant’s copy or a read-only/limited user role inside your own QuickBooks Online account. Your bank credentials are never requested, and full admin access is never used unless a specific task genuinely requires it and it’s agreed in advance, in writing.
File storage
Client files are stored in Google Workspace with two-factor authentication enforced. No client financial data is stored on local devices.
Confidentiality agreement
A mutual NDA is signed before any file access is granted — either a provided NDA, or yours if you have one.
Payments
All invoicing and payments are processed through Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure checkout — never seen, collected, or stored directly.
Ending an engagement
Access is revoked within 24 hours of an engagement ending. You can also revoke access yourself, at any time, directly from QuickBooks — no need to wait or ask.
